It is a quick, picturesque, 30-minute drive from the enchanting city of Bologna, the capital of the Emilia-Romagna region in Northern Italy, which is home to the magical UNESCO World Heritage site, The Porticoes of Bologna. Palazzo di Varignana is set in a 75-acre estate enveloped by botanical landscaped gardens, farmland, vineyards, and olive trees. The 134 spacious and contemporary rooms and suites offer something for everyone. Those looking for exclusive privacy can now stay in one of the six new villas – ranging from four to six rooms they are perfect for families, friends and larger groups celebrating milestone occasions. Activities and experiences can be shared together in one of the many swimming pools, terraces, tennis, padel and squash courts as well as its very own driving range and putting green. Perfect for a keen golfer to practice getting back into the swing of things. The impressive Varsana SPA has its own wellness-themed Vital Suites which are often chosen by those visiting the resort just for the spa. New this year, the property boosts its wellness offering with a new extensive Medical Centre, which focuses on detoxifying, boosting immunity, and counteracting oxidative stress through a variety of medical and aesthetic personalised treatments. The sprawling wellness facilities include a hammam, sensory showers, bio-sauna, Finnish sauna, steam bath, ice waterfall and Kneipp circuit.
